Dillon Beach Resort (DBR) is a fifty-five acre resort with a private beach and has been a family-friendly destination for more than 130 years.
The DBR logo is a rich blend of the tranquil coast and pastoral ranch landscapes giving it a modern rustic feel. The resort icons provide a playful companion to the contemporary typography.
We designed multiple icons with a cohesive style so they could be interchangeable throughout the signage, collateral, apparel and souvenirs.
Here are a few of the logos we explored before arriving with the final logo.
When designing the Resort, Kitchen and Lodging logos, we wanted to evoke the feeling of being at the beach. The vibrant colors selected reflect the sun and sea.
